If a mum is Guilty of a crime, taking the child away for her mum is punishing the child as well , but in this case taking away the daughter and putting her into care will be the best thing ..imo

What sentence do you think she will get?… 5 years maybe less

What sentence would you give if you were the judge? Id put her in a mental hospital till they see fit to release her.
And take her daughter away give her a new identity and help to put this behind her, new life mew start.

To hurt,terrify and destroy a child's childhood by anybody for financial gain or indeed any reason is a haenous act,but for it to be the child's own mother is an act whereby an exemplary sentence should be, but is most unlikely to be issued.

my opinion: 20 years

reality: probably 7 years with remission after 4

Dave.............on reflection and in an ideal world I utterly agree............shame capital punishments been abolished as we'll pay our tax to keep those monsters behind bars

Maybe about right, but she will be out in 5

Then sadly she will make money from a book deal

We (the taxpayer) will end up paying for her protection just like we do Maxine Carr. It will cost us 1000's of £'s yet she will get a few quid from "telling her story"
